This is a great all-you-can-eat sushi location! I think this captured my attention when I tried the sushi rolls that were topped with lobster. LOBSTER. That, and the guy I am dating took a shot of a whale egg. Yeah, whale egg. Not for me, but he enjoyed it and so did the seven year old who sat behind us. I am fan for its original dishes and services. The sushi chefs behind the counter seem to enjoy their job too, and you can witness this as they greeted regulars. There was also a whiteboard that had the sushi chef names and their special rolls they created. I have to respect creativity with deliciousness. Parking is great, located in a busy area occupied by a Jack In The Box and an El Pollo, but if you seek the alternative option, I would roll (pun intended) with Ninja Sushi. Oh, and I do not know who selected the music for that day, but I enjoyed the eclectic mix of rock and '80's music. Oh, and always, the service kept my cup full. Always a plus.

Not that great on sushi. Sushi means rice and the rice here that they use on the sushi is just plain rice. I was sceptical about their sushi so I got the Benton special. It came with miso soup which tasted like water and green onions. I ordered the pork katsu which was over cooked and dry. I also ordered the spicy tuna roll and a calamari roll. Both was once again made with the plain rice. I had green tea with the meal and I was thinking it'll be in a pot but instead it was just hot water and a tea bag. I would pass on this spot. It lacks flavor and is plain. I would only suggest this place if you want cheap drinks and a lot of plain rice with your fish.

Happy Hour All Day! You definitely can't beat the prices at this place! The sushi is very good and was fresh. I've been here a few times and have tried different things (Rainbow Roll, Golden California Roll, Baja Burrito Roll, Dragon Roll, Miso Soup...) and everything was tasty. It's nothing different from your average sushi place, but the prices are unbeatable and good sushi never disappoints.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! I went there today and ordered "All you can eat" and them the waitress gave a paper, i marked the first and second round and she said that I couldn't order that much because I wouldn't be able to eat! The waitress was hearing my conversation with my family on the table and went there to make comments, she asked If we had a problem. When my first round came, I ate all and she gave me back the paper for the second round, I ordered everything in the menu that wasen't spicy at all, and they put spicy sauce on my sushi!! I asked the sushi man If I could change and he said no, If I wouldn't eat the sushi the would charge me 3 dolars/roll for waist, I had an argument with him and he said she wouldn't charge me that time, although next time he would! I tryed to pay with my debit card on the cashier and I said to the waitress "debit, please", she slided the card and said it was declined, and I said "Did chose debit?" And she said "We just accept credit", I did not have any cash though, so my friend payed for me. When I got home I checked my card balance and guess what? THE WAITRESS DID CHARGE ME ON MY CARD AND IN CASH! She charged me twice! The food is good though, everything is fresh and well done.

I came in just after opening and there was already some tables taken! Me and my sister had three tempura rolls and everything was great. The drinks came fast and the rolls were well presented and flavorful. There was quite a long list of to-go orders but luckily the sushi chef wasn't alone and we still got our food relatively promptly. By the time we left, lunch time was in full swing and all the tables we taken! We were very impressed with this place and we're excited that it's only 5 minutes from our home. The all day happy hour certainly helps with all rolls 50% off so you won't be breaking the bank any time soon. With our three rolls and two drinks we spent only $24! I will be bringing everyone here for a close get-together.

Excellent sushi, friendly chefs and staff. Korean style sushi, bigger portions. Big on flavor and style. The chefs have fun and create a happy environment. I highly recommend. Happy hour is very affordable. Have tried all the sushi places in high desert, this is the best.

  • Clarissa T.

Love this place! Great fresh sushi & amazing prices. 50% off rolls all day, can't beat that! Love the Baja burrito, rock n roll, and red bull roll!! One star missing because of the service, when you walk in its not very clear whether or not you can choose your table. You basically have to bother a waitress to get seated and sometimes they aren't very quick to clean off the table for your party. Another thing they need to work on is getting the orders right,3 times I ordered rolls and got two of my rolls wrong when I picked up or when they came to my table. Super annoying!! Other than that, it's a great place to eat,i order from here every time I'm in California!

I've been wanting to go here for awhile now and finally got over there for lunch today. Very pleased with the service, food, and prices. My friend got the Bento box and it was huge with generous portions. I had the all you can eat and everything I tried was delicious. Our waitresses were awesome and very accommodating. Ordered a Golden California Roll to take home to the hubby and he loved it!! I will definitely eat there again.

  • Robyn L.

We love this place! Their prices are unbelieveable! Happy hour all day, everyday! Half off all rolls. Beers are super cheap, $1 Saki bombs! Its our sushi heaven!

    (5)
  • Ian L.

It's obvious that the owners took my comments seriously because they got rid of that rude waitress and hired a new staff. They even took things up a notch with some new monthly specials. They have a new appetizer called the backstabber. It's very tasty. With $1 sake bombs, it still is a good deal. I am now a regular again. I wish they would bring my food out at the same time, but at least the service is better.

    (4)
  • Dottie M.

I love the place. Fish is always fresh. They are willing to recreate a dish that I have had from other sushi places. Very good.

Great prices Delicious rolls everyone is very nice. Nice atmosphere. Certain rolls could be better but u cant beat the price thats for sure

Came in with my family, service was super slow, probably some of the worst service I've ever experienced. Took forever for our food to arrive, guests that came in well after us seemed to get their food quicker. Servers never asked us if we needed more water, etc. I think their problem is they don't know if they want to be a restaurant or fast food place, they are so busy prepping the to-go orders that the customer service for the dine in guests suffer greatly. Definitely will not return, rather go to Samurai Sushi off 7th.

  • Lorenna G.

Tried to go during our lunch hour. It was extremely busy, but a table was cleared for us immediately. There was only 2 sushi chefs and 2 waitresses on staff. All the tables around us were getting service but we sat for a good 15 min before we got up to ask if it would be long because we had to be back to work in 30 min. The waitress told us she would be right with us- but we were ignored for another good 5 min. We finally got up and had to go to pollo loco because we doubted we would get our water let alone our food in time. Don't go if you're in a time crunch.

  • Bernadette B.

Giving 5 stars are rare for me. But 4 stars is still pretty great. U cant beat the happy hour which is all day i think and its half off all sushi and the sushi is pretty fresh and good. Definitely a place to try for yourself and give your own review!

  • Elizabeth Z.

I used to be a reoccurring customer but I haven't been in a few months because I've been pregnant. I went in today and it went down hill!!! The sushi chefs don't care, the waitresses are slow and rude, and the quality of food is terrible. My rolls were falling apart, my food took way too long to get (and it was not busy at all), and the shrimp roll was drowned with sauce!! I will never go back to them and I've been giving them my business for years. I will not recommend ninja sushi to anyone anymore!

    (2)
  • Victoria M.

Service was really bad. They forgot to put part(?) of our order in and a couple of us waited more than 30 minutes after the other one ate. Sushi was a C. Kids liked the Gyoza and teriyaki. Bummer.

    (2)
  • Jen V.

This is the best sushi that I've had in the High Desert. It was pretty busy when we got there, and I felt bad for the two waitresses who were running around. We sat at the bar so we got our food a little faster since we didn't have to wait for the waitress to find time to bring it to us. She was very apologetic for our wait, but it was obvious that they were short staffed. The food was excellent, and my only complaints are about the slow service and the dirty, soy sauce splattered menus that we were given. Besides those issues, I will definitely return because the food was awesome.

    (4)
  • Leah S.

Ninja sushi has great food. Went for dinner tonight, the service is always typically very slow even though there are 2/3 waitresses working. We almost always have to ask for our beans after sitting there for 5-10 minutes sometimes.I think they should have real menus instead of giving customers to go menus to order from. The food and the prices make up for that. I do recommend them, they are a great deal.

  • Joanna A.

Fresh great sushi in the high desert! Good quality of ingredients and quick service. Great place to come for lunch (many lunch specials), daily happy hour (3-6 half price sushi), and dinner (many dinner specials as well). The owner said something about starting a karaoke night. So this place would be awesome to come on a weekend night for sushi, music, beer and sake. Check it out you won't be disappointed! I sure wasn't.

I cam because I've only heard good things and so far it's great service and Gooood prices. I'm impressed. :)

Nice place. Half price, but full portion makes this place a great deal. Food is always fresh and clean

  • Cindy G.

The sushi rolls are yummy :p yet the server who assisted me was one of the worst experience ever! I called in my lunch and when I got there is was not ready. It was 12 when I got there and by almost 1 I clock the food was given to me. While I was waiting I decided to pay the lady my food and she handed me leSs amount of change. I gave her 20 dollars and my total amount came around 9 dollars. Well she handed me one dollars and some change and I told her.. Excuse me , I gave you a 20 dollar bill and she went off at me that I was lying and I said you can count your register and I promise you you are not missing any change. She thought I gave her ten dollars. Anyway she handed me my correct change and told me " it's on your conscience I will be short on my register and maybe fired" I found that very hurtful and I never want to go back. Terrible server!!!!!!!!

This place is one of the top sushi places I've been to. They're sushi is very fresh and the service was great. We came here on a Friday night around 5:30 which I'm very glad because around 6-6:30 it started getting so packed that there was a line out the door. We ordered a few rolls, but my favorite for sure was the Garlic Albacore Roll. Now, when they say garlic, they mean business. It's definitely strong so it may not be for everybody. I also recommend the Dragon Roll and the Baked Muscle Roll. I didn't give this place a whole 5 stars because once it got busy they did get slow on bringing us our orders and we did have to remind them on one of our orders. But other than that, it was a pleasant visit!!

  • Miriam M.

FRESH SUSHI!!! We frequent this place at least 4-6 times a month. The Service can be slow at time so be patient but the people are friendly and nice. Now that they have HAPPY HOUR all day, where can you get GOOD, FRESH, sushi for under $20.00 for 2 people (we love our sushi)? We Normally Pay well over $40.00 anywhere else. I recommend this place to everyone !!!

  • Crystal S.

my husband and i have been coming here dive they changed to Ninja sushi and LOVE THIS PLACE. We used to have to drive all the way to Riverside until e tried it here. It is super fresh and a very fun atmosphere. The server was all alone and she did a great job taking care of everyone

  • Chelsea M.

The atmosphere is great here. I love the half priced rolls all day and drink specials! Good udon and yakisoba the service is a little slow but the sushi is good for the desert.

    (5)
  • Gohar K.

Sushi wasn't bad...but photo descriptions didn't match the actual food. Fire roll was missing spicy tuna on top. Spicy scallop roll looked nothing like the photo...& the scallops were raw. Aloha roll was missing cilantro...only reason we ordered it. Waitresses aren't to knowledge on the roll names either.

    (3)
  • Alyn P.

Eh, it was ok. Not only were we packed in this place like sardines... But I felt that every roll was practically on a "California roll" base. I don't know if Im spoiled by Samurai Sushi or what. But it just seems like spending $65 for rolls, I should have got more quality. I did leave full, but that's about it. Its an Ok sushi place, but not as good as even Yoshi in my opinion.

    (3)
  • Suzee L.

3 stars for LA/OC standards but fish is fresh so at least that's good (because I've had some old stale sushi at other places before). And like every other sushi place in HD, none of the rolls look like how they're pictured in the menu so don't go by the pictures. The rolls were kind of plain, I wanted plump rolls, full mayo and terriyaki sauce, but none came like that, all the sauces were on the side and the rolls were small, and I don't know if that's because they were 1/2 off during happy hour or not, but like I said, the fish was fresh, so hence the 4 stars. Sushi bar's on the left upon entering but for some odd reason, the hostess stand is way in the back of the restaurant so you would need to walk all the in the back to get some attention. Clean restaurant.

Good sushi at a good price. Nice variety of rolls and sashimi. Been here many times and service is always friendly and fast. Love their happy hour specials!

Me and my boyfriend love coming here!! The service is great and very friendly. And their sushi prices are SUPER cheap!!:)

    (5)
  • Kevin S.

Best sushi place in the High Desert. The food is great and the specials they have are awesome!!! Half-off rolls, all you can eat for $20 and even their drinks are pretty cheap!!!

    (5)
  • Sarah C.

I have been to a lot of sushi places, and this one might be my favorite. It is not the fanciest, but the value cannot be beat. It is really good sushi and the all-you-can-eat or the happy hour (which is always, so not sure why its called that) make it an excellent value. The servers are also GREAT. Keep it up, Ninja sushi!

First time I went here we ordered AYCE. I usually only order sashimi, there was way too much rice with each piece. The rice was also hard as if it had been sitting out for way too long. The mussels were made differently each time we ordered them, they were just drenched with either a hot sauce or a bbq type sauce, not a very complimentary taste. The sushi chefs did not have a consistent way they made everything but it wasn't that bad. Second time we went here it was pretty busy compared to the first time I had been there, I came with one other person and we ordered AYCE again. The waitresses took forever just to get us a menu. After telling her that we had wanted AYCE she was going to get us the specific menu for that. I eventually had to just get up to grab one, I grabbed our chopsticks as well after they had served us the start of our meal. They seemed more concerned with the larger groups, passing us by each time not helping us. The food took FOREVER to come out. Mussels were burnt about half the time and again there was just too much rice. It took about half the time we were there to get two pieces of eel out to us. For as many people that were in the restaurant it seemed they were not prepared. When our food did come out, each time I noticed we didn't get our full order. Some of the other food that didn't come right away eventually did. But a lot of the sashimi that was ordered never came and nothing was ever said about why..? I've never had this happen before to where the chefs didn't serve everything that was checked off on the menu. I understand when waitresses are busy and can't cater to you right away. But the chefs being that careless was pretty ridiculous.

  • Mr A.

My boyfriend introduced this sushi place to me while I was visiting him and his family. It was very busy when we arrived, and the service was pretty slow too. I didn't mind the wait because I wasn't hungry at that time... But when our order came on the table, I was in heaven! Probably the best sushi I've ever had!!! I even asked my boyfriend to take me there the next day and it was still mouth watering haha. When I come back to visit him, I'm definitely going to ask him to take me here for another sushi date. :)

  • Daysi D.

This place has become a favorite , on the best sushi restaurants in the high desert, good prices and good food and good happy hour . They are always busy so sometimes service can be a little slow but not too bad

    (5)
  • Gabrielle A.

Probably one of the best and most affordable sushi places in the high desert. They have half price sushi most days. My only complaint would be the waitresses chatting and not noticing when an order is ready. I almost got up to get it myself.

    (4)
  • Joanne K.

I guess for the high desert its passable. The spicy tuna was incredibly dry and honestly very disappointing. I would have to say the sashimi is a lot better than their rolls. They also took an awful long time on bringing our orders. Overall its okay but not somewhere I'd like to come back too.

    (2)
  • Ruben P.

Sushi is cheap and good for the price service friendly, the ambiance is OK. All on all not bad for a quick bite of sushi.

    (3)
  • Kelsey F.

The sushi wasn't bad we got a lot for our money. The menu is super confusing. The wait staff is the reason we won't be coming back. They were standing and talking while there were tables that need to be cleaned, they didn't bring out our meals together, and we had to ask for refills, utensils, a box and the check.

    (2)
  • Thao L.

Very disappointed. Will never come here ever again. Came in the other day hoping for some sushi, waited about 8 minutes and was never greeted by anyone, not by the waitress, not by the sushi chefs. There were two of them and they were just standing there. We sat down and waited another 5 minutes. There was only two other tables eating. After waiting that long, we left. I don't mind waiting for service, I can understand when a place is busy but the waitress should at least come over to say she'll be a few minutes, at least bring over some water or something!

  • michelle w.

Ninja has quickly become one of my favorite sushi restaurants! I love their fresh rolls (caterpillar, house, and rainbow) and their Amber Roll is a cooked roll but is absolutely delicious too. Their happy hour prices are amazing. The staff are all so friendly and they are always giving away free panda oranges, appetizers, and rolls. Give it a try...they deserve your business!

    (5)
  • Sarah H.

You should not go. There was a bone in my Lady Gaga Roll. NEVER had that happen before. Stay away.

    (1)
  • Jean C.

We went for the first time. Half priced rolls during happy hour. Tried four new rolls - Hanabi, Boom Roll, Rainbow Roll and Caterpillar Roll. Delicious.

    (4)
  • Doro M.

I began eating at Ninja when I read the review about being willing to crawl on broken glass to get there (good call!). I've recently become enamored of the Rainbow Roll, and due to a few dietary restrictions, I'm very specific about the way I want my roll prepared. Anything less and I'll be terribly sick. They have never once disappointed me. The fish is always fresh, the roll exactly what I asked for, and the service is incredibly fast. I, too, would crawl through broken glass to get to Ninja Sushi. Bring it on!

    (5)
  • Natalie G.

Great variety of sushi rolls and dinner plates. Very friendly server. I would eat here again:)

    (4)
  • Ryk F.

I would crawl over broken glass from LA to eat here .....

    (5)
  • R J.

Usually a 4 star with great rolls. Happy hour is where it goes down hill. Servers try to keep up but can't during a rush. Real bummer since this is one of my favorite spots in the desert, but no excuse for the lack of overall quality I experienced last week. :/

    (2)
  • Christopher K.

I've been to many sushi places around the high desert and this place is by far the best sushi place I've been to. They have fresh fish daily and the service is fast and friendly. Ask for Robert or Cereena, they'll hook it up! The European sushi chef, along with the Filipino and Korean chefs make the dishes tasty with nice presentation. Mr. Gary, the friendly owner/chef is always there to make sure everything is done well. You will not be disappointed!

  • Andrea F.

I love this place especially the server Stephanie! She is awesome...always remembers us and is just amazing! Thank you Stephanie!

  • Gloria C.

Family-owned FRESH (hard to find a fresh sushi place) Clean Good selection Great service I went here with my boyfriend for a last-minute dinner in the area, and we're glad we did! I love family-owned restaurants, and the owners of this one are working behind the counter. The fish tastes fresh! It's really difficult to find a genuinely fresh sushi restaurant (and I'm saying this as a San Diego native), but the flavors here were bright and clean. I would recommend the Rainbow Roll--always a favorite of mine--if you can handle sashimi. I only give restaurants five stars if I would eat there weekly; I would eat here daily!

    (5)
  • Rebecca R.

This used to be a great place, but the rolls have gotten so skimpy and small!

    (3)
  • Samantha T.

This is one of my favorite places for sushi in the area, it always tastes good and fresh. I don't recomend ordering the octopus roll here, it's too chewy for me and my boyfriend says it is not a good representation of a well prepared octopus. the rest of the rolls are yummy, though. The first time we went there, we almost didn't come back because one of the chefs yelled at the waitress in front of everyone, but there hasn't been any similiar incidents since, so hopefully that was a one time occurance.

    (4)
  • Jamiesha G.

The sushi was awesome ..... Very fresh and a party like atmosphere the food has a great presentation and it taste as good as it looks ..... I'm a big sushi fan and I recently moved up here from down the hill I tried 3 other sushi places none come close to this one ...... Ninja sushi reminds me of my sushi house down the hill I approve this place

    (5)
  • Jennie M.

Happy Hour is not a deal. They make the rolls skimpy and are stingy with everything except the rice. I asked the waitress what a few of the rolls were because it wasn't what I ordered, she said the menu is just a guide and every chef makes them different???? What? So, basically you can't have what you ordered. I've never heard that, ever! They also charge you for your 1st serving of edamame. The waitress was solo and obviously needed help. I will not be eating here ever again. They give Sushi a bad name!

    (2)
  • Morgan W.

Really good, fresh sushi! Had the California roll, dragon roll and some Nigiri with Tuna! All yummy! BUT no children accommodations. No booster seats or Apple juice! :) still a wonderful place! Staff was very pleasant!

    (4)
  • A R.

I had lunch here today, maybe Monday is not the best day to get sushi in the high desert! The service was good and the staff friendly however they were playing loud rap music which was not suitable for children or anyone who might be offended by the words f**k or motherf**ker. The fish was of very poor quality and should have been thrown out rather then served for human consumption. The red snapper and yellow tail were rancid. The tuna had not yet turned rancid however it was lacking in moisture and was discolored. I will not be back. Caveat emptor!

    (1)
  • Amanda B.

Okay when you walk in it does have a nice setting and is clean. Although the service was horrible, the server didn't know the menu or what the food consisted of. The food was okay the rolls didn't have much rice and the rice that was on there kept falling off of the rolls. The house salad was very plain but the dressing was good. They do not give you your first bowl of edamame beans for free like other sushi places. I was over charged on every roll I got I had to show the server the correct menu prices. Plus the food in my opinion was over priced to begin with. I will not be going back.

  • Jess D.

I have been coming here since they opened, since I work at St. Mary's nearby we come here all the time! They have definitely improved since opening. I was bummed when the young man waiter who was here left, he was really knowledgeable and friendly. Service was kind of hit and miss for a little bit after he left, but in the last month or so they've been great! The food is delicious. I can't really speak to the freshness of the fish, since I don't eat sashimi or raw roll, but I can recommend a few high points here. The crab meatball is to die for, I could make a meal of these and have to really control myself with not eating too many of them. The stuffed jalapeno is equally delicious and hard to stay away from My favorite thing here is the popcorn lobster roll. Oh My Goodness, it is so amazing. The shrimp crunch roll is quite tasty as well. If you are here with kids (or are a big kid inside and are easily amused like I am), ask about a panda orange. Just trust me, it's adorable.

Pros -All you can eat, and the prices are good. -Half price 3-6PM at the time of writing this. Full menu for half price! -Large portions. -Lots more than just sushi here! -Pretty fast on weeknights because there's nobody there since it's so new, for quick to-go orders. -Good location for me personally, closest sushi place to the Victorville/Apple Valley Narrows. Cons -A lot of rolls seem to have the faux-crab mixture in the middle, which gets old kinda fast. -All you can eat menu is somewhat limited, but still good. -Go on a fri/sat night, prepare to WAIT. They need at least a 2nd server. Somewhat limited seating. -HARD TO FIND (I found it on Yelp actually, doesn't show up on Google yet) it is behind the Jack in the Box / Pollo Loco. -The standard prices are maybe a BIT higher than what I'm used to? Go during half price or do All you can eat for the best deal. Neutral facts: -The menus they have now are from another sushi joint but are modified to match what they have available. They just have the name scratched out on front and replaced with Ninja. -They give you extra sauce with your sushi even tho you don't request it. I guess certain sauce goes with certain fish? I haven't really asked. It's good sauce though. Bottom line: Good place to quench a sushi craving on a weeknight after work.

Great lunch deals. They gave us a comp dish for ordering so many hand rolls. Good prompt service. Paid $65 for 6 adults and 2 kids. Easy.

    (4)
  • Teresa G.

Sushi was tasty and good price. Way understaffed, poor service, poor knife skills, sashimi cut poorly, waiter spilled our hot tea on us, had to remind waiter to bring miso soup and soy sauce dishes. The two tables behind us were dirty the whole time we were there, never bussed. Won't be back!!

Very good service and food I will be sure to share with others

  • Ted S.

Ask for Angelica, she's a ninja waitress and great. great service - 5 atmosphere - 4 food - 4 value - 5 They will make any modification that you might want to the menu and are truly happy people to work with. They have updated their decorations and it's pretty clean. There are televisions on every wall which four this price is great considering it's not a super fancy place. Everything was fresh, prepared well, and there are the fun additions that make the menu new versus just rolls.

I love and hate this place. My friends come here all the time because we love the prices. The food tends to be good. I personally have had no issues with the food, but I know some who have. My main complaint with this place is the service. It is so disorganized and I'm not a huge fan of their staff. For example my friend had come in with a broken foot and he was asked to leave his scooter outside. Well he couldn't walk without it, and it wasn't like it was in the way. It was tucked in the corner and the restaurant was pretty empty. Secondly, sometimes you sit there waiting for your food for ages when there is nobody there, and others when it is packed we get it quickly. It just depends who is behind the bar. All this to say I would recommend this place because of its price and the food is good, but the service is not very good.

I have mixed feelings about this place. The food is good, and the service is friendly, but the wait staff are nowhere near attentive enough. The prices are crazy good, but they're so disorganized. The first time I went I was with a group of six people. I and my friend got the wrong food, and several of our orders didn't come out at all. When we asked about it, the waitress said that the kitchen was closed. Ok so several of the rolls we ordered at the beginning of the night you guys just decided not to make? And you weren't going to tell us until we asked? Alright dudes. My friend didn't get any of his food and just sat there waiting, watching us eat. It was bizarre. It was a mess.

Really like this place... They have all u can eat for @ $20 during weekdays and they don't skimp on the quality. Half price sushi otherwise. In the area and want sushi? This is a good choice. Want atmosphere...not a good choice.

Not the best sushi in the high desert. I don't expect the fish to be extravagant, but I would rather drive out to Hesperia or something to get better sushi. I think there's a reason there's always a "happy hour." Waitresses aren't really that attentive and seemed to talk to each other more than serve food.

I was craving some sushi and haven't really tried any sushi spots in the area so I decided to do a fast search which took me to another place first but that place was about to close at 9:30 so I searched again and found out Ninja sushi stayed open until 10:30pm so I headed up the road to give it a try. I arrived, sat at the bar, checked out the menu, ordered some rolls and a beer. It has a real welcoming vibe, seems like a lot of the customers are locals who know the staff pretty well. Service was fast, before I finished my first glass of beer my rolls were ready. Some of the locals were taking sake bombs with the sushi chefs and they even offered me one, so how can I say no? Finished my rolls and decided to get in one more, the chef even threw in some smelt eggs on my roll so I could give it a try. It was a nice touch Price was very affordable, I ordered 3 rolls and a 32oz beer and I was surprized at how rather inexpensive it was. Decided to leave a good tip to show my appreciation Think I will definitely be back again. Thanks to the staff for making this a good experience. See you again soon

Sushi, I could take it or leave it. But if you're going to be a ninja, you must have this as a staple in your diet. Pretty decent food and a fair price but this restaurant does not reach out and karate chop you in the four head with wow. Certainly worth stopping by and having a decent meal.

Food here is generally good. There have been a select few times the food was sub par. I like their rolls better than anything else and they seem to be more consistent. The place is generally pretty busy, so anticipate a possible wait. And like many other reviewers mention, they have a small wait staff that often seems overworked. Seems like this leaves them less than friendly. And sometimes I can't blame them.

Great selection of rolls. Half price happy hour all the time. Great sauces. I'll definitely be back.

I've lived up here in the HD off and on for several years. But Ninja Sushi is by far my favorite place for sushi IN CALIFORNIA. The food is always amazing. When I'm living down in Huntington Beach I still drive up here to get my sushi fix. I LOVE NINJA SUSHI!!
